At the heart of Bourbon & Brushes is our Roadmap Recipe Book a coast-to-coast cocktail adventure. Each handcrafted Old Fashioned draws inspiration from a specific U.S. city or state, pairing locally distilled bourbon, flavor-infused simple syrups made from regional fruits and spices, and wood chips sourced from native trees for a truly immersive experience. From the Swamp Bite in Florida to the smoky-sweet swagger of The Big Apple, each drink is a love letter to the region it represents.

At your private Bourbon & Brushes event, guests will dive into our acclaimed Roadmap Recipe Book, which serves as a passport to a flavor tour across 12 iconic US cities and states. During your event, your guests will learn to make three (3) of these custom recipes from the recipe book.

Bourbon & Brushes was never built to be “just another” whiskey brand, a cocktail page, or a recipe book you flip through once and forget. From the beginning, we’ve been chasing something bigger: a way to turn a pour into a place, a sip into a story, and a simple drink into an experience you can feel.
That’s where our motto comes from: "The Art You Can Drink"
Because for us, bourbon isn’t simply a spirit. It’s a canvas.
And every canvas deserves a brushstroke.
It Started with Smoke & A Map...
If you’ve spent any time with Bourbon & Brushes, you already know our obsession: the Old Fashioned. Not because it’s trendy, but because it’s timeless. It’s the cocktail that doesn’t hide behind sweetness or mixers. It lets the bourbon speak. It invites the smallest details to matter: the bitters, the citrus, the syrup, the ice, the stir.
That attention to craft is what gave birth to Roadmap Recipes, our cross-country journey of custom Smoked Old Fashioneds, where each drink is a destination. We don’t just name a cocktail after a state and call it a day. We build each recipe from the ground up using:
- Regional bourbons with real heritage
- Handcrafted syrups made from local fruits, spices, and flavors
- Smoke from native woods that brings aroma, depth, and drama
Smoke was our first brushstroke, because smoke changes everything. It adds atmosphere. It adds story. It makes the first smell as memorable as the first sip.
